Privacy Policy

Last updated: [date to be inserted]

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you contact IRRICOM through this website, why we process it and what rights you have. We collect only what we need to answer your request.

1. Who is responsible for your data

IRRICOM is an Italian manufacturer of the ICS Series of professional Wi-Fi irrigation controllers and supplies them to partners under their own brand. IRRICOM is the data controller for the information submitted through the meeting request form on this website.

Details of the controller: [legal entity name], [registered office address], Italy. VAT / EORI: [number].

2. What we collect

  • Information you give us yourself: your name, company name, email address or WhatsApp number, and the time slot you prefer for a meeting.
  • Technical information collected automatically by the website platform (Tilda): IP address, browser and device type, and anonymous statistics about page views.

We do not request or store special-category data, such as health or biometric information. Please do not send such data in your message.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your request and to agree the time and place of the meeting — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
  • To prepare the commercial discussion: price list, volumes, packaging and supply terms — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
  • To keep business correspondence and accounting records — Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, compliance with a legal obligation.
  • To measure which parts of the page are useful to visitors — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, consent that you can withdraw at any time in your browser settings.

4. Who we share it with

We share your data only with the parties that need it in order to serve your request: the organisers of the exhibition where we meet, and our service providers for hosting, email delivery and customer relationship management, who process the data on our instructions under a data processing agreement.

We disclose data to public authorities only where the law requires it. We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses.

5. Cookies

The website uses strictly necessary cookies for the form and the platform itself, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand which sections visitors actually use. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; in this case some parts of the site may work less well.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Meeting requests: until the meeting takes place and for 12 months after our last contact, unless tax or accounting rules require a longer period.
  • Correspondence and commercial records: for the duration of the business relationship and for the period needed to defend legal claims.
  • Anonymous statistics: for the period set by the website platform.

7. Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability to another provider, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at the address below — we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this page whenever the way we process data changes. The current version always shows the date of the last update at the top of the page.
